- Conduct scientific, thorough, and systematic scene and telephonic investigations into deaths that by law are under the jurisdiction of the medicolegal office
- Disseminate the investigative information to departmental forensic scientists to achieve a coordinated, efficient, and complete death inquiry
The course emphasizes the medical aspects of death investigation. It is not designed to be a homicide seminar.
